Shannon`s Little Explorers
I am level 3 qualified early years practitioner with 3 children of my own and two pet dogs.
I have worked in a variety of childcare settings: Nursery, school & childminding. With over 13 years of experience & wide range of different ages.
Past 5 years as a childminder.
I am a small, based childminder, supporting children to the best start in life and prepare for their future. Home – Home environment, with activities and experiences to support each individual learning journey and readiness for school.
I am part of the Language 4 Life project - This is all about language & communication, receiving support & skills from language therapist & a great big book of ideas! I am within my third year of implementing this into my curriculum.
My Experience
I have worked with children for the past 10 years. I have worked in a couple of different settings which are St Kenya primary school nursery and reception class, after qualifying I worked at Mini Beast Nursery and Pre-School, period of time at another childminders settings and in Chandag Infant school, as a dinner lady.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 diploma in children and young people’s work force.
First Aid trained
Safe guarding (child protection).
My Availability
Spaces available - Minimum 6 Hours
Monday - All year round or term time only
Tuesday - All year round or term time only
Wednesday Term time only
Friday Term time only
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Fees include:
-drinks
-snacks
-outings such as soft play/visiting farms/play group
I also accept Government funding & Tax free scheme
