About Me
I am a fully trained Steiner Waldorf Early Years practitioner (level 5), and I have also completed the Steiner Waldorf Class Teacher training course at Steiner House in London.
I have an NVQ3 in childcare. I have four children of my own, two boys and two girls. I currently run a flourishing SW Parent and Child Group at St Matthias Church Hall on Tuesday mornings, but I'm free apart from the Tuesday mornings. I have been working at the Brighton Waldorf school for 22 years. It has now closed, sadly.
I am patient and compassionate and continuously developing my knowledge of child development. I have completed various NVQ2 courses on autism, and I am experienced teaching autistic children. I am very happy to teach homeschooled children in the Steiner Waldorf style. My ambition is to start up a Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten in Brighton in the future. I live in the Fiveways area of Brighton.
My Experience
Five years Kindergarten Assistant experience. Three years as Playgroup Teacher. Three years as Kindergarten Teacher. Eleven years as the Lead After School Club Teacher for the whole school, all at the Brighton Waldorf school. I was also a supply Teacher for the main school. . The school is closed now however.
My Qualifications
NVQ3 in Childcare and Development.
Diploma, Steiner Waldorf Early Years Education (level 5).
SW Class Teacher training.
My Availability
From 9 am until 6 pm every week day except Tuesday mornings. Possibly weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nursery work from £11.00 per hour
Around £12 per hour
for all services.
