My name is Vanessa Honrado, and I have been living in the UK for the past 22 years. I am
fluent in both English and Portuguese, with excellent proficiency in communication. I am a
confident, hardworking, and positive individual who is deeply passionate about working with
children. Over the years, I have cultivated extensive experience as a nursery practitioner,
teacher assistant, and nanny, consistently demonstrating my commitment to supporting the
growth and development of young minds.
I have been privileged to work as a nanny for over five years with a family of five children,
including caring for a baby since birth. This role has allowed me to provide a nurturing
environment while attending to the children's educational, emotional, and physical needs. I
have also been fortunate to travel with the family to various countries, further enhancing my
adaptability and understanding of diverse cultural dynamics. In addition to my current full-time
role, I work part-time with another family, supporting three children and ensuring their

or Portugal, to embrace new experiences, cultures, and languages while continuing my work
with children.

teacher assistant, where I supported children with their literacy, numeracy, and social
development. I have worked with children with special educational needs, ensuring their
progress through individualized support plans. Additionally, I have organized creative
activities, led educational outings, and fostered a safe and stimulating environment for children
aged 3 months to 16 years.
My academic qualifications further enhance my abilities. I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in
Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, complemented by a Bachelor’s
Degree in Business and Management. I have also received extensive training in First Aid, Child
Protection, and Behaviour Management. My ongoing commitment to professional
development reflects my dedication to offering the highest standard of care and education.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy socializing with friends and family, traveling, cooking,
and hosting dinner parties. I also find joy in arts and crafts, which often translates into creative
activities that I organize for the children under my care. My warm personality, reliability, and
adaptability make me an asset in fostering a positive and enriching environment for children.
