About Me
Hello! I am a 27 year old living in Warwick looking for regular evening babysitting, perhaps day times in school holidays. My day job is a School Counsellor working in a secondary school in Coventry. I am a kind, caring, and easy-going individual who is also organised and efficient and loves working with children and young people. I am a book worm and love to paint, spend time outdoors by the beach, and my favourite thing to do is travel.
My Experience
I have 8 years plus experience working with children and young people in various settings: Nursery, schools, Private Nanny and therapeutically as a young people's counsellor. I approach childcare in a kind, fun, and sensitive way - attuning to the children's personalities and needs, and making sure they are safe, well, and happy in my care. During the pandemic, I worked for a family with three children (aged 3, 8, 8) and homeschooled them for 2 years. My jobs included: planning activities at home, taking them for days out, making meals, bathing and bedtime, reading with them and helping them with school work, but most importantly creating a nurturing and relaxed environment. I had a great relationship with the children and loved being part of the whole family!
My Qualifications
I have a degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds. I also have 3 A levels A*A*A. I am first aid trained and I have a driving license. Additionally, I have completed a level 3 course in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties.

I am available during the day and evenings.
