About Me

Welcome to Bambini Montessori Childcare!

A nursery setting ran in a homely environment.

Although under the category of a childminding service, Bambini Montessori is an establishment ran in the same lines of a nursery. Registered with Ofsted and private childcare facility with an adventurous outdoor play area within a nurturing home, offering care to babies as young as 9 months, onwards up to toddlers, pre- school children and older children.

The main aim is to ensure that our facility is secure, offering a comprehensive range of learning skills in a healthy, caring and loving environment with the involvement and support of parents.

The parents/carers of children will be greeted with a warm welcome with announcing their child’s name each morning or afternoon, as well as being registered in our register for attendance. Each child or baby is allocated with a key person, myself and an assistant whom will be responsible for monitoring the baby/child’s development in all areas. All learning journals are carried out by the allocated key person to support a child’s development, along with being shared and updated to parents.

The Bambini Room
Babies’ area

The Buttercup area is set out for babies, making sure that they are looked after in a homely and warm environment, ensuring that they are safe and are stimulated with all their needs met. We endeavour to keep parents/careers informed about their baby’s monitoring and the time spent at Bambini Montessori during the day. You will be provided an online communicational platform between the key person and yourself, containing information about your child’s wellbeing with us.

The Tulip Area
Level one- Toddler's area

At Bambini Montessori Childcare we strongly believe that physical movement and play is essential for children in their early years. Through play, young babies and children are naturally learning growing beautifully in a fun and homely environment.
It is through natural play that young babies and children learn, grow and have fun. It helps them recognise the world and to develop socially and emotionally. Along with natural play, the Montessori Method plays a vital part of their time with us. They will understand and mould themselves independently being able to increase their mobility and concentration on everyday life skills as well participating in activities such as reading, writing, maths, creative arts, about the world and science.

The Piccolo Room

The Daffodil Area
Level two- pre-school and older children area

Children like to follow a routine, in which we have a routine set out incorporating the 7 key areas of the EYFS, weaving in the Montessori Approach. Our physical activity session includes: yoga, dance, drama and light exercising.

We passionately believe that children will absorb through play in a well-planned and structured environment with this stream of free flow. Purposeful activates and appropriate intervention by the childcare provider, will engage children in the learning process with using the Montessori Method and adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage.

My Experience

The setting is an inviting, caring and nurturing environment, whom seeks the opportunity to support babies and young children in reaching to their fullest potential. I, myself also teach dance and yoga supporting children and adults physical development, self-esteem and confidence. I also love to sing and travel to different parts of the world.

Although, a mummy to three beautiful children - please kindly see below the experience I hold within childcare professionally.

Direct experience of working with children
I was previously an owner to a Montessori Day care Nursery and have previously managed the setting, having the opportunity to work in a range of ages from babies to pre-school. I have been a key person for 13 children for the pre-school making observations and linking them to the EYFS for their formative assessment. I have tracked cohort group assessments, monitoring all children’s ages and stages supporting their development and welfare in filling any gaps and working towards their Early Goals. With being SENco, giving support identified, such as S&L or a paediatrician referral and have put these in place with robust policies and procedures in achieving positives outcomes.

I have set up and maintained stimulating care and educational (Montessori) environments for babies (8 weeks to 24mths and an environment for toddlers), Early Years pre-school environment for (pre-school 3-5).

Child Protection
I was the Child Protection Officer for the Montessori Day care Nursery previously owned. As such I received significant training in all aspects of Child Protection and Safeguarding. This included Senior Multi-Agency Working, safe recruiting, signs and behaviours that could indicate abuse, handling disclosures and writing a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy for the setting. The Montessori setting was approved to offer free places to two-year-olds in October 2015, which included working with families that had ‘children in need’.

Special Educational Needs
I was the SENCo for the previous Montessori Day care Nursery. Additionally, as the manager, key-worker and room leader, I attended joint meetings between outside agencies, key-worker and parent.

Human Resources
Previously, part of my role in the Montessori setting, was to manage a variety of different aspects relating to staff following the safer recruitment policy and procedure.

Training and Parent Partnership
During my experience in running the previous Montessori day care nursery business, I have acquainted myself with the Montessori method, the Early Years Foundation Stage, and parenting techniques when working in partnership with patents. I have run in-house training sessions for my staff to underpin their knowledge and practice of working in the Early Years, and to cascade new policies and new legislation. I have led Health and Safety awareness training including completing risk assessments, safeguarding responsibilities, and the Food Standards Agency course ‘Safer Food, Better Business’. I have been involved in parent education through ‘Stay and Play’ sessions for under fives.

Pick up and drop off will not be available currently.

We are so grateful to Miss Priya and the team at Bambini Montessori Luton! Since Ayan started attending, his English has improved so much, and he is always excited and happy to go there every day. He loves taking part in all the different activities, and it’s amazing to see how much he is learning while also having fun.
The environment is always very clean, warm, and friendly, which makes us feel comfortable and confident leaving Ayan there. Miss Priya is caring, supportive, and truly dedicated to the children. We are very happy with everything and would highly recommend Bambini Montessori Luton to any parent looking for a lovely and nurturing place for their child.

As parents, we want the best for our 24 months daughter and to find someone to look after her the way we molded her and align to our montessori way. Because we want to train first our daughter independence and confidence, lifelong love of learning and holistic growth. We are really keen not just with the cleanliness of the environment and set up, but also avoiding the use of too much screen. We had a hard time looking for a montessori place in the area as it’s rare to find. We prayed for guidance, then surprisingly when we’re browsing over the childcare website we saw Bambini Montessori Childcare. We immediately sent a message and Priya was so lovely to send a response. From initial conversation we had, I was really impress as she value confidentiality and privacy. When we visited the area, I was impress with the set up and felt that my daughter will easily settle as it’s almost similar to her play area at home. Priya was very professional and helpful from the beginning we decided that Bambini Motessori is the right place for our daughter.

Our daughter’s first week were really nerve wracking for me as a mom, because it’s our first time to leave her and for her not to see any of us around for longer hours. But Priya and her team were so kind to reassure us our daughter is okay by giving us updates and feedbacks and also sending us our daughter’s photos and videos ( which for me were really precious as I can still monitor her milestone even if I’m not beside her). I also love how Priya and her team settle my daughter everytime we leave her without any screen involve, which for me is very important because I prefer interaction rather than screen. Also, Priya was so hands on in working hand in hand with us for our daughter’s development which I greatly appreciate. Also, Priya is so considerate and understanding regarding the schedule of our daughter, which also help my mental health specially on days I really miss my daughter.

As a mum who love and a silent advocate of Montessori Learning, I will definitely recommend Priya’s Bambini Montessori.

I have been very impressed and pleased with the care provided by Priya and the team here, for my 10 month old baby boy. We joined on a part time basis to begin and he has settled in within a week. He seems very confident in socializing and building new relationships with different people. The setting itself is perfect for my baby, lots of educational and stimulating toys. I would definitely recommend Bambini Montessori to other parents.
