About Me
I am a warm, dependable and experienced childcare professional based in Bristol and can travel. I have more than 30 years of experience caring for, teaching and supporting children of different ages, from newborns to pre-teens.
I am a qualified swimming instructor and hold NPLQ and NRASTC qualifications, giving me a strong understanding of safety, safeguarding and children’s individual needs. I also have a degree in Counselling Studies, which has strengthened my ability to listen, communicate sensitively and support children’s emotional wellbeing.
As a mum of grown-up children, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient and genuinely caring. I aim to help every child feel safe, comfortable and valued while in my care.
My Experience
My experience includes caring for newborns, infants and older children, as well as supporting children with additional needs. I understand that every child has their own personality, routine and way of communicating, and I adapt my approach accordingly.
Through my work as a swimming instructor, I have developed excellent skills in safeguarding, supervision, risk awareness and building children’s confidence. I am calm, patient and attentive, and I enjoy creating a safe, positive and enjoyable environment in which children can play, learn and relax.
I am DBS checked, first-aid trained and hold a full driving licence. I am reliable, responsible and respectful of each family’s routines, boundaries and parenting preferences.
My Qualifications
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling, a Diploma in Counselling Studies and an ITC Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification. I am trained in Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at Work, safeguarding children, autism awareness and children and young people’s mental health.
I am also a qualified swimming teacher, including teaching babies and pre-school children, and an Autism Swim Provider. My lifesaving qualifications include the NPLQ and NRASTC. I am DBS checked and hold a full driving licence.
My Availability
I am available for daytime, evening and weekend babysitting, including occasional and emergency childcare. Please contact me to discuss your family’s requirements and the days and times you need. No Sunday.

- Babysitting from £23.00 per hour
after midnight £30 per hour
