I come from a big Irish family, so being around children has always been second nature to me. From a young age, I’ve been looking after my younger cousins, and more recently I worked as a nanny with sole charge of a 4-year-old girl and her 2-year-old brother. These experiences taught me how to balance fun, care, and structure—whether that’s keeping little ones entertained, supporting their routines, or just being a calm, reliable presence.
