My Requirements

Part-time nanny position (maternity cover)- 9am-5pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays term-time only. Starting 02 November 2026 with contract running until 28 January 2027.

We’re searching for a nurturing, kind nanny to be an extension of our family - caring for our toddler (20 months) during the working day, as well as our two older boys (4 and 7) after school including doing the school pickup (15 min walk).

We’re keen to hire someone experienced with different aged children who can prepare and support fun activities for both a toddler and slightly older children.

We have an extremely friendly and enthusiastic (read a bit barky!) Yorkshire terrier and a cat so an animal lover is a must! We would like the post holder to take the dog and toddler out for a walk at our local park once a day.

Responsibilities include: care for toddler throughout the day and older children after school, taking the toddler to playgroups/classes in the local area, light housework (keeping children’s spaces clean and children’s laundry), walking the dog and baby once a day, and preparing the children’s tea (batch cooking where time allows).

One of either my husband or I will generally be working from our home office so will be on hand to take over at 5pm.

Non-drivers welcome to apply as we live within walkable distance of school and heart of Chapel Allerton. Ofsted registered preferable but not essential. Non-smokers only please. Enhanced DBS check essential.

Salary is £15 ph (gross).
