Flossy
Nanny in London: Westminster
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I'm Flossy — a Cheam-based nanny and SEN Learning Assistant with a real passion for supporting children & teenagers. I love watching young people grow in confidence as they discover what they're capable of and have plenty of experience in supporting children with SEN and neurodivergent needs.
I have previously worked at The Link Secondary School in Sutton, where I provided 1-2-1 support for students with ASD and communication needs, including non-verbal pupils. I lead a before-school Sensory Circuit, ran lunchtime and after-school art clubs, and helped young people build life skills like cooking, travel training and healthy living. I'm trained in Zones of Regulation, Sensory Circuits, Safeguarding and Makaton basics, and I'm PDA aware.
Alongside school, I've held sole-charge Nanny roles supporting a teenager recovering from a severe eating disorder, working closely alongside medical guidance, and caring for a film producer's child during long overseas trips.
With a BA in Textile Design and an MA in Creative Direction, I love weaving creativity into everyday care, from mixed-media art to costume-making. I'm lifeguard trained, a strong swimmer, and happiest outdoors walking, hiking or camping.
Calm, kind, discreet and endlessly enthusiastic
