About Me
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder, operating under the name Sue’s Childcare Services, providing high-quality before and after school childcare for children aged 5 to 11 years.
I live with my husband, our two children aged 16 and 14, and our friendly small dog. My aim is to provide a warm, welcoming, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and valued. After a busy day at school, children have the opportunity to relax, play, build friendships, and take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities.
I am truly passionate about working with children and feel incredibly fortunate to do a job that I love. I understand how important it is for parents to have complete confidence that their child is in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment, and I work hard to build positive relationships with every family I support.
I am delighted to have recently been awarded a Strong judgement in my latest Ofsted inspection, reflecting my commitment to providing high-quality childcare and the best possible care and experiences for every child.

My Experience
I have extensive experience caring for primary school-aged children, both through my work as a childminder and as a parent to my own two children. Over the years, I have developed a good understanding of children’s individual needs and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can feel happy and confident.
I have experience supporting children of different ages, personalities, and abilities, helping them to develop independence, build positive friendships, and enjoy a wide range of activities. I work closely with parents and schools to ensure each child receives the care and support they need.
My aim is for every child to feel welcomed, included, and part of the family while they are in my care. I believe in encouraging kindness, respect, confidence, and having fun, so that children look forward to coming each day.
