About Me

I am a bubbly, chatty, caring person that’s always had a motherly instinct. Childcare is all i have ever wanted to do I knew this from when I was little. I was always playing dolls and caring for them. I chose childcare as a GCSE option and achieved a merit in Btec childcare. From leaving school I went to college for a year to do my cache level 2 in childcare I attended 2 nursery placements caring for various ages.when I completed my level 2 at college I went on to do level 3 I decided to do it as an apprenticeship so that I could be more hands on and learn through the job. I completed this at the private day nursery and worked for 1 and a half years with under 2s. I then got moved to the 2-3 room for 6 months before leaving to move to a nursery closer to home. This is where Became team leader of the preschool room. At present I am a nanny to a 3 year old little girl and a seven year old girl. Before this I was a nanny full time for a family for almost 3 years to a 18 month old little girl and her 4 year old brother. I’ve worked with babies from 3 months to preschool children. I love doing messy activities with the children as this is how they learn through sensory based activities. I know how important outdoor environment is important for their developmental growth.I am an ofsted registered nanny with a first aid certificate!
