About Me
Hi my name is Kirsty , I live in Sheffield and I am 30 years old. I am currently looking for some extra work doing babysitting preferably at weekends as I'm in full time work. However evenings are possible .I currently work at a nursery and as deputy manager and SENCo (special educational needs coordinator ). This is supporting children with special needs, I am fully DBS checked and on the update system , I would describe myself as very friendly , fun, chatty, caring , reliable and trust worthy . My Experience
I have 10+ years experience, I started my level 3 apprenticeship at the age of 17 and got kept on after qualifying , I then worked my way up to room leader of the baby room and also then the toddler room, I worked there for 7years . I am very flexible with ages and feel confident in caring for all . Since November 2018 I have been working at my new setting which is a nursery preschool , I started off in the baby room as a practitioner then worked my way to room leader of the 2-3 year olds ,along side being deputy manager . My role at nursery is now Deputy /SENCo .
My Qualifications
I firstly studied level 2 childcare at college once leaving school.
Then I moved on to my level 3 apprenticeship where I worked full time and did my NVQ alongside work. I qualified in 2012. I now have a level 3 qualification, I also trained to qualify as a level 3 SENCo from august last year and have been qualified since Dec 2023.
My Availability
The latest I work on a week day is 6pm so would possibly be able to do 6.30 onwards , I drive so it’s easy to get around , I am looking more for weekends but let me know if you need a sitter , and I would be happy to help in the week also .

I have booked Kirsty a few times now to look after my 2 children. Son 6 and daughter nearly 5. My son has ASD and some behavioural issues related to autism. My daughter is also on the autism pathway awaiting diagnosis. She is great with my kids and I am happy in her ability and skills to look affer them so I can get a break when needed. Kids really like her too. Kirsty is friendly and approachable. She is a good fit for us and I will be booking her more.
