Hiii and welcome to my profile, my name is Lauren, I’m 31 and live in the New Forest along with my 2 cats.
I’m currently at a stage in my career where I would like more and to branch off so I am putting the feelers out there to see if I get much interest. Currently I work at a nursery Monday to Thursday 7:30am until 6pm in Romsey (I’ve been here almost 6 years).
I have over 10 years experience in early years, I gained my Level 3 in Childcare in 2014, and my BA Honours Degree in Early Years in 2019. I also hold a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social care. I am first aid and outdoor first aid trained, as well having completed many of the online knowledge courses (safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity etc).
The outdoors is a big passion of mine having grown up in the New Forest, and so last year I completed my Level 3 Forest School Leader training, to which I now deliver a specialised Forest School program to the children I work with (I’ve also become a bit of a mushroom nerd, spending most of my time walking in the forest coming across lots of treasures!) I also babysit a lot of families after work who I have met professionally.
As I previously said I’m just putting the feelers out there to see if anyone is interested in connecting with me to look after their children.

My Availability
This depends on how much interest I get. Plus I’d need to give notice at my current job.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £10 an hour for during the day and evening, however if I am needed past midnight my hourly rate does go up to £15 an hour.
