Hi, I'm Sandra
I consider myself as a very creative, patient, organised, punctual, social and cheerful person.
I am currently studying illustration at University of Arts of London.
My experience working with children ranges from teaching assistant in a drama club, several years of babysitting experience, to two years as a teaching assistant in special educational needs school.
This experience helped me to understand different points of view, met diverse cultures and developed my communicative and emotional skills.
From my art studies I learned the importance of games, crafts and enjoyment on the learning process, how the enthusiasm and passion on the tasks helps the children to integrate the lesson, developing a positive environment and themselves.
I love nature and outdoor sports, like trekking, horse riding, yoga and above all, cycling.
I have done the “Camino de Santiago” four times by bicycle and it has been a very enriching experience of perseverance and knowledge of the self and nature.
All my knowledge from art and sports (and also Spanish language) could be used for activities with the children if required.

I am currently studying illustration at the University of Arts of London. I am still waiting to find out the timetable for this year but I am looking to work one or two days a week, after school / evening hours. I am also flexible in babysitting some weekends.
