About Me

Hello

My name is Gina Newton Comer, I’m very proactive and a mother of 2. I live in Frome and have run baby groups Bubaology and a play group Little Newts in Victoria Park last year before all this kicked off. I recently registered with an agency to work with children in a local school, however the reliability of the work and the short term notice doesn’t go so well when I have my own kids a few days a week. I have however successfully got a new DBS, which has led me to contemplate childminding in the new year. We have a fantastic garden designed with children in mind and I am very creative with activities up to my eyeballs.
I am looking to work part time to offer some after school care or mothers help. Maybe I can help you as I can be quite flexible for work.
I currently volunteer for the Cinnimon trust and walk a dog as I’m keen ever to help out and get stuck into the community.

My Experience

I have over 15 years of experience working with children 0-14 years. I have an up to date transferable DBS. My past work involves establishing an after school club, nannying, au-paring, working with families through crossroads care and after school care. Not to mention first hand experience bringing up 2 children.
I previously did after school care with two families here in Frome and can get references.

My Qualifications

Diploma in childcare level 3
City and Guilds Preparing to Teach in the life long Sector

My Availability

I am currently available Monday to Friday, depending on the demand, once work has found me I will work around what there is to offer and plan to st a day aside.
