My Experience

I am a qualified Teacher specialised in Key Stage 1 and Early Years. I taught in Nursery and Reception classes across London for 12 years. I am confident with planning fun activities to deliver the Early Years Curriculum. I was a 'Lead Teacher' in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea and ran workshops to support EYFS teachers, particularly with how to extend children's mathematical thinking. My speciality was my continuous provision but I also love finding creative ways to teach phonics! I have been childminding for 3.5 years and have done lots of babysitting. I have experience working with children with SEND including speech delay, ADHD, diabetes management and cerebral palsy. I have worked alongside other professionals to support these children to achieve their full potential. I am paediatric first aid trained and every adult in my family is DBS checked and on the DBS update service.

My Qualifications

I have qualified teacher status (QTS). I have BA Hons in English and American Literature. I am Ofsted inspected and graded 'Strong' in all areas. I am Paediatric First Aid trained. I have completed a home-based childcare qualification to become a registered childminder.

My Availability

I am fully registered with Ofsted. We hope to be moving in July and will be available to take children on from September, subject to a smooth house sale. Settling sessions would be available at the beginning of September. I'm offering term time only childcare, although there could be some flexibility on offering ad hoc days during the holidays with enough notice given. I work part time Monday to Wednesday. I am an under -3 setting. I offer ad hoc evening babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Childminding from £8.50 per hour

I am registered to accept Working Tax Credit and Free Childcare for working parents funded hours.
