About Me
Hi! I'm mum of two girls (4 and 2 and a half). I live with my husband in the College area of Epsom. We have lived here for 5 years. I currently look after my youngest full time. We spend our days at local playgroups, and using our membership to Hobbledown farm, National Trust and the Royal Palaces. We have two much loved Cats, Bonnie and Marge. I enjoy ceramics, gardening and reading in my spare time.
My Experience
I am a qualified Teacher specialised in Key Stage 1 and Early Years. I taught in Nursery and Reception classes across London for 12 years. I am confident with planning fun activities to deliver the Early Years Curriculum. I was a 'Lead Teacher' in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea and ran workshops to support EYFS teachers, particularly with how to extend children's mathematical thinking. My speciality was my continuous provision but I also love finding creative ways to teach phonics! I have lots of experience with my own children but also numerous babysitting jobs.
My Qualifications
I have qualified teacher status. I am Paediatric First Aid trained. I have completed a home-based childcare qualification to become a registered childminder.
My Availability
I have just received my certificate and am now fully registered with Ofsted. I am looking for children to join me full time in January. I'm offering term time only childcare, although there would be some flexibility on offering ad hoc days during the holidays with enough notice given. I have a space for a school pick up from St Martins C of E Primary School and evening babysitting.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Maddy care for our daughter over the past year. She has built such a strong, caring, and positive relationship with her, and it is clear how much she genuinely cares for the children she looks after. Our daughter absolutely loves her “Maddy days” and is always excited to spend time with her.
Maddy has played such an important role in our daughter’s learning and development, providing a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment where she has thrived.
