About Me
I’m currently looking for part time or flexible working as I have a part time job at a children’s charity Yellow Submarine.
My Experience
• I work for Yellow Submarine Charity, we help children aged 11+ with autism and learning difficulties to live their lives to the full. I help on day trips, activity days, residential and youth clubs on a 1:4 or 1:1 basis with more complex needs.
• Girlguiding Leader - I help look after young girls aged 4-14. We do lots of activities to keep them occupied and happy, including arts, crafts and games. This has also included residential and day trips. Through this I have completed a Level 2 Safe Space Training.
• Babysitting - I have babysat for 3 families, with children ages from 1 - 13 years old. Involving putting the children to bed, playing, helping with homework, taking them out, reading them stories etc.
• I can do lots of hair styles such as french and dutch plaits, buns, curles, pony tales and pig tales. Whether it is for school or just everyday life.
Other but not as relevant experience includes working in hospitality as a TV Runner for the BBC, Team Leader at Blenheim Palace and Front of House at Soho Farmhouse.
My Qualifications
• Enhanced DBS.
• Level 1: Introduction to Safeguarding (Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board)
• First Aid at Work.
• Medical Awareness : seizures, epilepsy, allergies.
• Driving Licence : clean, full, since 2016.
• Level 2 Safe Space.
• Girlguiding Leader.
• Basic Sign Language & Makaton.
