About Me

I am an experienced and qualified childcare professional living in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. I have recently completed a foundation degree in early years (children 0 - 8 years) and hope to complete the full BA degree in early years by the end of the next academic year. I enjoy working with children; providing a warm, nurturing and caring environment for them to learn, grow and play. I believe babies and children learn and develop best when they are safe, comfortable and having fun!

My Experience

I have 8 years experience as a nanny for children aged between newborn and 8 years (I have also had my own children which has allowed me to understand the relationship between parent a child a little better). I am currently working as a one-to-one learning support assistant within a school which I love. I am looking for evening babysitting and adhoc work in the school holidays and weekends.

My Qualifications

I have a Cache diploma in Nursery Nursing (NNEB) which I acheived in 2000. This was a 2 year, full time course - half our time was in college and the other half was in practical placements including nurseries, families and school settings. The course covered the care and education of children from newborn to 8 years. I have also just completed a foundation degree in early years (children 0 - 8 years) and will complete by full BA degree in early years in the coming year.
