My Requirements

Supporting my son with fun activities in the home. It will be at least 10 hours a week. Ofsted registration is a must, and experience with SEND children with high needs or the understanding is required. Damien is capable of doing many things, such as getting his own snacks, washing, dressing, using the toilet. He likes paying video games, wat ching movies, playing in the garden playing with his cars, playing oard games of which we have plenty. He doesn't necessarily need much interaction with others, but he does like someone sitting with him (body doubling). He doesn't do any school activities or go to any after school clubs in the evening. His home and school are separate environments and he likes to keep it that way. He is very intelligent and understands what you tell him, however, he is classed as non verbal so you may hear a few words but not many. This is a role for someone who feels confident in body doubling as damien engages well with this process. Dad will be at home mostly as hes not very well at the moment. I am a student nurse so do placement hours which can include 12 hour shifts.
