Simply amazing

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Sara. Our son started with her when he was just 7 months old and, honestly, I still remember how nervous I felt. From the very beginning, her welcoming home and gentle manner immediately put my maternal instincts at ease — something that hadn’t happened with other settings we visited. She gave both me and my husband a real sense of trust and reassurance and she has never once let us down.

As first-time parents, we’ve learnt so much from Sara over the years. She’s always happy to share advice or little tips about anything, from weaning and potty training to social development, behavioural skills, to learning how to hold a pencil, her support has been invaluable. We genuinely couldn’t believe our eyes when our son was able to write his own name at just two and a half!

The end-of-term development reports have always been wonderful — detailed and full of photos and real examples. Through them, we even discovered new things about our own child that we hadn’t noticed ourselves. You can really see her previous experience as a teacher in the way she supports the children — there’s such a lovely balance between structure and warmth.

Another thing we really appreciate is how she keeps herself up to date with policies and procedures, always informing us of any updates. It gives us that extra peace of mind knowing everything is done properly and professionally.

Our eldest is now 4 and has grown into such a confident little boy, also thanks to her. We honestly couldn’t be more grateful. In fact, we trust her so much that our second child has now started attending too 😊

Sara is kind, caring, knowledgeable and truly passionate about what she does. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for looking after our children ❤️

Sara’s Little Sunflowers

From the moment we started with Sara, we could tell she is not your ordinary childminder. She brings many years of teaching experience with her and it shows in every part of what she does. She has established a real curriculum for the children—not just babysitting or playtime, but thoughtful learning, development and structure.

What truly sets her apart is how much heart and soul she pours into caring for the kids. Our son has been so well looked after; she has treated him with such warmth and attention, as if he were her own. The environment she creates feels more like home than a childminder setting—safe, nurturing, full of kindness, yet full of learning too.

We have seen such growth in our son all because she invests so much in the children’s wellbeing and development. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. You really feel she does this because she cares deeply and loves what she does.

Review

My daughter has been with Sara since she was 10 months old for over 2 years and she recently took on my baby boy. My daughter has come on and developed well under Sara's care. She plans the weeks well with themes around books, seasons and special dates. Sara is flexible and made my return to work easy. She gives regular updates throughout the day which is nice when at work.
