Hello! My name is Megan, I'm 21 years old and live in the Hyde Park, Leeds area and I'm looking to help out families with babysitting. I'm kind, reliable, and creative and I have always loved working with children and animals too, so pets are a big bonus for me! I have a strong passion and background in music so I love teaching the little ones how to explore their musical side too. I also love sports, fitness and getting outside, so a walk in the park or playing some outdoor games is always on my list of things to do!
My Experience
I have worked in children's nurseries for 5 years now, where I help with the care of children aged 4 months to 5 years old. This included leading specialised activities to aid the development of that specific age group, helping with mealtimes, changing nappies, and discussing the children's daily developments with their parents and carers during handover times. During my time working in childcare, I have been able to complete various courses such as safeguarding, food safety level 1&2, child development, fire safety, allergen awareness and more. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and I am booked in to do a paediatric first aid course, although I have been trained in adult first aid.
