About Me
Hello! My name is Megan, I'm 23 years old and have 7 years experience working with children. I worked in children's nurseries working with children aged 6 months to 5 years old and then spent a year last year as a private nanny and babysitter for children aged 3 to 9 years old. I currently work for a London theatre for the most part of the week, but am looking to fill my Friday's with regular nannying or occasional evening babysitting during the week and weekends. My hobbies are: music, theatre and going to the gym - which I love to help little ones explore their musical, theatrical, and sporty sides!
My Experience
I worked in a children's nurseries part-time for 5 years, where I helped with the care of children aged 4 months to 5 years old. This includes leading specialised activities to aid the development of that specific age group, helping with meal times and daily routines, and discussing the children's daily developments with their parents and carers during handovers. During my time working in childcare, I have been able to complete various courses such as safeguarding, food safety level 1&2, child development, fire safety, allergen awareness and more. I then became a private nanny for two lovely families with children with ages ranging from 3 to 9 years old, for whom I now occasionally babysit for. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and have my paediatric first aid certification.
