About Me
We’re a young family, based in Dorking, balancing two demanding jobs and running our own retail business. We arelooking for a kind, reliable, and organised part-time nanny/housekeeper to join us from September 2025. We have three busy children who will be aged 6, 3, and 1. We care about keeping our home calm, clean, and organised – but that’s a challenge with three little ones! We’re looking for someone warm, capable, and proactive who can bring structure and joy into our daily life.
My Requirements
Days & Hours:
Wednesday & Thursday: 12:30pm – 6:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
(Some occasional evening babysitting or weekend support appreciated with notice)
School Holidays: Same hours, with a focus on planning fun days and activities
Caring for our 1-year-old on Fridays and during holidays, including local outings
Homework help and occasional after-school activity support (all local)
Playdates and activity planning, especially during school holidays
Helping keep our home neat and organised – especially children’s spaces, kitchen, and outdoor play areas
Occasional small mending – fixing children’s clothes, soft toys, or school items when needed
Preparing healthy snacks and simple dinners for the children
Supporting daily routines including packing school/nursery bags and helping with potty training
School/nursery pickups are helpful but not the main focus – all are within 10–15 minutes’ walk
Light general tidying and household support – we have a weekly cleaner for deep cleans
Laundry for the whole family – a key part of the role and something we share as a household; includes washing, folding, putting away, and keeping wardrobes organised (very minimal ironing)
Essential Requirements:
Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Enhanced DBS Check with barred
Ofsted Registration (or willingness to obtain) – this allows us to use tax-free childcare schemes
What We’re Looking For:
Someone who enjoys being around children and supporting the rhythm of family life
Organised, dependable, and brings a sense of calm to a busy household
Naturally tidy and loves keeping things in order
Comfortable taking initiative and helping maintain a smooth routine
Occasional evenings or weekend with notice. Please note we have a weekend nanny who is happy to be a reference for us :-)
Happy to do light mending or small fixes when needed
Driving is not essential (everything is within walking distance) — but would be helpful
Must be paid through a registered payroll (government tax-saving scheme
