My Requirements

Hours
We're ideally looking for someone to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00pm/1:00pm (flexible start) until 6:30pm/7:00pm. For the right person, we would also consider Wednesday and Friday or Thursday and Friday. During school holidays, we may occasionally require longer daytime hours to care for all three children, plan activities and enjoy days out. Some evening babysitting or occasional weekend support would be appreciated with notice but is entirely optional.

Household Support
The main focus of the role includes:
Family laundry (washing, folding, putting away and keeping wardrobes organised)
General housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and organised home
Keeping children's bedrooms, play spaces and the outdoor play area neat, organised and inviting
Keeping children's shoes clean and organised
Preparing healthy snacks, packed lunches and nutritious family meals, with an interest in healthy meal planning
Packing school and nursery bags, ensuring everything is ready for school and after-school clubs
Organising toys, cupboards and seasonal clothing
Changing beds and helping maintain household routines
Occasional light mending of children's clothing, school items or soft toys

We're looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, reliable, takes pride in maintaining a high standard, and enjoys helping a busy family stay organised.

Childcare
Afternoons focus on supporting our family with:
Caring for our youngest before school finishes
Nursery and occasional school pick-ups (all within walking distance)
After-school care and occasional homework support
Taking children to local after-school clubs when needed
Planning activities and playdates during school holidays
As a family, we love spending time outdoors. While the children enjoy the occasional soft play trip, we much prefer exploring local woods, parks and National Trust properties, making the most of the beautiful countryside around us, or simply playing in our garden. We'd love someone who shares that appreciation for nature and enjoys encouraging outdoor adventures.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a strong work ethic, reliable and takes pride in doing a job well
Is warm, kind and genuinely enjoys being around children
Is organised, dependable and calm
Uses initiative and notices what needs doing without being asked
Loves creating an organised, welcoming home
Is happy balancing housekeeping with childcare
Has an Enhanced DBS check (or is willing to obtain one)
Driving isn't essential as everything is within walking distance, although it would be an advantage.
