My name is Pauline.
I have childminded since 2004.
I live with my husband and 22year old son.
I offer children a fun and stimulating home environment.
The children I care for are not just ‘looked after’ they become part of our family.
My Experience
I feel my setting is a home from home.
My resources are extensive, well maintained and age/stage appropriate.
By working in partnership with parents, having good communication, this helps with the children to feel safe and secure in my setting.
I would make any adjustments if needed and I am constantly reflecting to see how I can improve.

Pauline (or Paupau) to our little boy has looked after our son since my return to work 2 years ago. She has provided him with excellent care and has looked after him as if he was her own. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough, he is so happy to go to her house while I am at work. She has a really calm and reassuring presence and I have always felt safe leaving my son in her care.
She does an excellent range of activities with the children from trips out to the library, walks in the fresh air to fabulous artwork (I am amazed by her creativity).
She’s also been a really valuable source of reassurance and parenting advice, as she has so much experience, not only as a childminder, but as a mum herself!
