About Me
I am a fully qualified childcare professional that has worked in the industry for over 8 years now. I was career nanny and also have a multitude of other professional experience within the childcare sector. Career wise I have taken a side step and now work in social services 9-5 Monday to Friday.
I love planning and providing a varied array of activities and experiences, appropriate for a child’s age and stage of development. From baking homemade bread to a fun filled day at the farm, I believe that a busy child is a happy child.
My Experience
My background is from working within day nurseries, before, during and a year and a half after qualifying. I moved on from this during the pandemic to be a temporary nanny for a family of 4 from my nursery. I have been nannying ever since, filling gaps in my schedule with nursery work for 6 years now.
Other work I have carried out include being a PA for a young adult with additional needs on an AD/HOC basis.
After this role I nannied for a family with two school aged children before/after school in the week and nannied regularly on the weekend for an 11 month old baby.
I then secured a full time position being a nanny/housekeeper for a family of 6. The children were 7,5,2 and 12 weeks old when I joined. This family home educated.
Most recently I was splitting my week between working in an Ofsted outstanding nursery in Haywards Heath (baby room) and nannying for a lovely family in Burgess Hill with 1 baby on a Monday and Tuesday.
I am now currently working full time in the social care sector and am only available for evening babysitting and weekend work.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 (EYE) childcare and education diploma
Full paediatric first aid certificate
Enhanced DBS check
Child protection and safeguarding level 2
Various CPD certificates
Public Liability insurance
Willing to OFSTED register

- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
