My Summary

My Experience

I spent three summers working at Brading Roman Villa, teaching children arts and crafts and about Roman History. This meant working with the public and with young people on a daily basis.
I worked for a children's charity helping to run a camp for underprivileged children from inner-city London. This included running activities for the children, organising events, and helping ensure the children were safe and having fun.
I ran a kitchen in a summer camp, with up to 4 staff members. I was responsible for budgeting, ordering and preparing over 10,000 meals for children at the camp to take on canoe trips, lasting up to 2 weeks. I Managed a team of 38 employees, overseeing, training, and wellbeing of employees. While at the camp, I ran outdoor cookery classes for children at the camp aged 6-15.
I volunteered once a week at a local nursery, helping look after the children aged 6 months-4 years. I helped with meal times, and general entertainment.
Following graduation I worked as an English Teacher in Italy and Austria, before I became a nanny to a family of 3 children in Sicily! Since November I have also been teaching English as a foreign language online. I am now back in the U.K. looking for childcare work.

My Qualifications

I am advanced DBS Qualified, I hold the International Child Protection Certificate, I have a food safety qualification and a full driving license. I have a degree in Theology.
