About Me
I have a passion for the care of others. From a young age I was involved in charity work and volunteering in education settings. University was a stepping stone for me to expand my passion and skills to supporting children and families. I am a very open minded, understanding and kind person with knowledge in early years teaching, special needs, high level behavioural and emotional support. I am currently studying at Leeds Beckett as a mature student training to become a psychotherapist. I offer childcare for children over the age of 8, respite care, mothers help, school runs, home schooling, SEMH/SEN support work and more.
My Experience
I have a Full DBS Check. I am trained in TCI.
I have vast experience within education and residential care settings. I understand the importance of therapeutic care as well as academic support for student. I have supported and cared for children from the age of 4 up to 16/17 in my previous roles.
I have knowledge of the national curriculum, EYFS, developmental and behavioural challenges within education and the importance of boundaries.
I have knowledge of current social issues, safeguarding, child protection, family care, self harm, mental health first aid, gang affiliation training etc.
My Qualifications
14 GCSEs
English, maths and science above grade C
Degree in Health and Social Care
My Availability
I work ad hoc hours with other clients and manage my studies so can be flexible where possible.
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
dependent on needs of each client as I work in carrying different settings, a fee list is shared with each client and is the same across the board.
