About Me
Caterpillar Childcare Settings
Hello, my name is Edina, and I am an Early Years Educator and registered childminder with 14 years of experience working in childcare.
Providing care for young children has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Watching children grow, learn and achieve new things gives me so much pride and joy. This is why I decided to pursue childcare as my career.
I believe children are naturally curious, capable and full of imagination. I love watching them explore, play and learn, and I especially enjoy answering their questions and supporting their curiosity about the world around them.

My childcare rate is £10 per hour.
Government-funded places are also available for eligible families.
Parents are very welcome to come and visit the setting, have a look around and meet me before deciding.

I believe that building a strong and positive partnership with parents is very important. Good communication helps us work together to make sure every child feels happy, safe, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

My Experience
i have over 15 years of experience working with children, including more than 10 years working in nursery and childminding settings.
I have always enjoyed spending time with children and caring for them. I love supporting their development, watching them learn new skills and helping them feel happy, confident and secure.
Throughout my career, I have worked in different roles that have developed my communication, teamwork and organisational skills. I also have experience caring for children from birth onwards, supporting children at different stages of their early development.
I am passionate about providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment where every child can learn, play and grow.

Our child has been with Edina for almost 2 years now, obviously being our first one. we were very anxious about choosing a childminder. When we met Edina, we were blown away with the way our daughter was at ease with her. After witnessing that, we knew Edina had to be her childminder.
Edina's setting is a modern apartment fully child proof, warm, and cosy with lots of space for the kids.
We would highly recommend her to any parent looking for someone reliable, caring, and truly committed to a child’s wellbeing.

Our daughter has been going to Edina for the past 2 months, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. From day one, she made the transition so easy — our little one settled in quickly and absolutely loves her time there. Edina is so caring, patient, and creates such a warm and fun environment. We’ve already noticed how much more confident and chatty our daughter has become! It’s such a comfort knowing she’s in safe and loving hands. We’re so grateful for everything Edina does — truly a 5-star childminder!

Edina helped us a lot, with weekend babysitting and after school care.
She looked after our son last year, unfortunately we moved away beginning of this year.
I highly recommend her.
She planned outdoor activities, and did a lots of art and craft activities.
She helped our son with the spelling and reading 📚.
She cooked healthy dinner to our son everyday.

Edina has been a full time nanny for our 2 year old for the last 6 months. Edina brings her nearly 3 year old son to work with her and we love the bond that our child has developed with both of them.
Unfortunately our situation has changed as our child will be starting nursery, so we no longer require a full time nanny. We still hope to continue to work with Edina in the future on a more ad hoc basis.
Edina has a calm and considerate manner and is easy to communicate with. She manages to navigate the day with two active and opinionated toddlers. Edina built a busy schedule of outdoor and community activities for the children to attend, and was able to get them outside each day. She was very flexible in the evenings if we were running late from work, for which we are very grateful! She also helped us with occasional weekend babysitting. She cooked meals for our child and provided a weekly meal plan, and helped us with the laundry. She was diligent with administering medicines and vitamins. She was good at communicating during the day while we were at work, including plenty of photos and updates on their activities.
We greatly appreciate all the help Edina has provided to our family and we hope to continue to work closely with her in the future.

I cannot tell you how sad I am that we are moving out of London and having to leave Edina. We absolutely love her and Tristan! My little boy is 20 months and it has just been absolutely amazing having them in our lives!
Edina is such a calm presence and Ralph goes to her with open arms and no tears when I leave him which makes is so much easier for me as I know he is happy and in great hands.
Edina is also some sort of wizard when it comes to sleep as she got him down for his nap without any fuss, despite him fighting me in a daily basis!
I'd 100% recommend her as I know thay you and your family will llov her and Tristan as much as we do!

Edina helped me through the hardest period of my early motherhood, with the growth spurts and sleep regressions where I could barely function. She is conscientious, calm, kind and caring, my baby boy loved her instantly and she was able to give me lots of breaks and breathing time when she was here. She is very knowledgeable and experienced with all things baby, which was enormously helpful as I’m totally clueless. She also brought us toys and books for free.
Edina also helped with cleaning and housework whenever she had a free moment, really I couldn’t have dreamed of a better nanny. Her little boy Tristan is super adorable and easygoing. Now that my baby is going to nursery and I’m back to work, we have a different arrangement and won’t need regularly babysitting anymore. I highly recommend Edina to anyone that needs a fantastic pair of helping hands!

We were introduced to Edina through childcare.co.uk, this is the first experience with a Childminder/ Nanny we have had for our 7 year old, when we spoke to Edina we were pleasantly surprised to find out she was very experienced and has worked in a childcare environment before. She was very nice and had a calming demeanour on the phone, we had initially booked in for the start of the new school term, before covid lockdown happened, she was very reliable, local and had built a rapport with our little one and her little boy is very sweet. Our circumstances have changed now, we are very happy for the time and effort Edina has put into looking after our daughter, we would definitely have Edina babysit in future.
