About Me
I am an registered childminder with the a Childcare Agency. My business name is Muddy Bears Childcare. I am have been working in childcare for 15 years and have a 5 year old son. We love to spend time exploring the outdoors and going for walks. I have a BA hons degree in Early Childhood Studies and Psychology along with my nursery training of NVQ level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development. I have current pediatric first aid training, food hygiene along with SENCo and signing training.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 14 years with a variety of ages from newborn to 12 years old in both private nursery settings and information education roles. I worked in private nurseries for 8 years and completed both my NVQ level 2 and 3 In Children's Care Learning and Development. Whilst completing my degree I worked on a farm providing educational visits for pre-school and school aged children. My last role within a nursery setting I was room leader and third in charge. I decided to set up Muddy Bears Childcare so that I would provide high quality childcare in my own home and provide children with a safe and caring learning environment.
