Nanny in Liverpool (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m Kate - I was a nanny for many years and I have been a mum for the past 4.
*I have a driving license but no car*
I am looking for a part-time role, where I am able to also have my 4 year old son with me (until he goes to school in September).
We get up to lots of fun including cooking, singing, playgroups, museums trips, picnics, crafts and learning letters & numbers. We get around on foot, bike and bus, and I do have a single push chair I can use for a 1-4 y/o who’s in my care. - Please ask me anything!
I am an enthusiastic and empathetic care giver. I have experience and love working with children of all ages and I am especially trained and comfortable with newborns and younger children. Due to my experience, I am flexible in my role (nanny, babysitter, housekeeper, cleaner...dog minder). Looking to start work immediately.
Preferable hours Monday-Friday, early morning to 4/5pm. My son is in nursery 12-6pm Tuesday and Thursday so I would need to do drop off and pick-ups at these times.
My Experience
2017-2019 I was working as a full time live-in nanny and housekeeper for a family of 5 in New York. The 3 children were 3 months, 2 years old and 4 years old when I began. Day-to-day duties included preparing breakfast, school lunch prep, school run, supervising/helping with homework, bath and bedtime routine. With the youngest child, I took care of formula prep, bottle feeds, nappy changing, general care/comforting, tummy time, reading and taking her to music classes. I also weaned her off milk onto solid food and helped in her crawling and walking development. I prepared and served a variety of balanced meals daily, ensuring food safety for the eldest child's peanut allergy, while trained in emergency response with his EpiPen. Each week, I planned activities including crafts, trips to the museum, zoo, etc.
I performed general housekeeping tasks, including organising, cleaning and sanitising the kitchen and children's areas. As well as doing all children's laundry and beds, cleaning and changing the baby station, restocking nappies, wipes, lotions and emptying the nappy disposal every few days.
Before this role, I worked for multiple families in the UK, doing part-time nannying and last minute childcare cover for children aged 0-15 while I was studying.
My Qualifications
From the American Heart Association, I have my First Aid, CPR & AED certificate. This includes:
• Pediatric First Aid.
• Child/Infant CPR.
• Adult CPR.
• Asthma Care.
• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
I have a Fine Art degree from the University of Westminster.
My Availability
WEEKDAYS ? Early mornings are great, 4-5pm finishes mostly so I can take care of my son in the evening and get him down to sleep. On the occasion he’s with his dad I could help in the evening. I would consider weekend arrangements at a higher price.
