About our girls: We have two girls, who are 9 and 7 years old. They are both outgoing, relaxed, well-behaved children who love music, ballet and gymnastics. They both go to the same primary school which is a couple of minutes walk from our house.

My Requirements
After School Nanny for Two Girls (9 & 7) | Islington N4 | £17-19/hour (gross)
The Role:
- Monday-Thursday, 3:30-6:30pm
- School pickup, after-school activities, supervise homework, cooking dinner
- Start date: Early to mid September 2026
- Permanent position
- If interested some additional weekly hours available for light housework
- Additional hours available during school holidays and occasional babysitting
Our children:
Are 9 and 7 year old girls. They are both outgoing, relaxed, well-behaved children who love music, ballet and gymnastics. Both go to the same primary school a few minutes walk from our house.
About you:
- We’re looking for a nanny who is kind, fun, creative and takes a gentle approach to discipline
- Able to prepare healthy meals
- Enhanced DBS check
- Confident English speaker
- No driving required (school/activities are all within walkable distance)
What we offer:
- £17-19/hour gross depending on experience
- Lovely family home with garden (non-smoking, no pets)
- Paid holiday (pro-rated and equiv to 20 days per year for full time work)

Debbie has looked after our 3-year-old daughter from when she was 12 months old; providing a full time childminder service for 4 days a week. Our daughter always looked forward to spending time with Debbie and was sad when the COVID pandemic brought her time with Debbie to an end. Debbie is very caring and supportive and always came up with fun and interesting activities for them to do together. It has been wonderful watching our daughter develop so well under her care. I would wholeheartedly recommend Debbie to any parents who are looking for someone to take care of their child.

It was an absolute pleasure to watch and help Cleo grow into a very bright and confident little girl and also to work with such a lovely family . When the time came for Cleo to move on it wasn’t easy as she became part of the family as we all missed her loads but that’s the hardest part of the job . X
