About Me
I am looking to work as a baby sitter or nanny. I have plenty of experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teens. I am DBS certified, and have completed multiple safeguarding and child protection courses, as well as food hygiene and allergen training courses. I am a keen learner, having finished my degree in English Literature at Lancaster University, and currently finishing my masters degree at the University of Derby. I would be happy to help children with homework problems of any subject, or teach basic skills, such as cooking. My main goal as a baby sitter and nanny is to create a safe environment that the children can feel comfortable and secure in.
My Experience
I am DBS certified and respect the importance of safeguarding and child protection. I have completed numerous safeguarding training courses, pediatric first aid courses, food hygiene and allergen training courses. I have worked primarily with young children from newborns to 11 years old through my work as a nanny and pre-school teacher, however I also have experience with young teens, ages 12-16, within the Air Cadets and through work at a sixth form college, and personal experiences of caring for children voluntarily in my church (ages 0-5), and my own family also (ages 0-16). Moreover, I have volunteered during my time in sixth form to assist teaching textiles to younger students (ages 11-12).
