Hi

I’m Maddy, I’m 29 years old from Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent. (None smoker)

I am currently a full time Private Nanny for a family in Stone, Staffordshire. I’ve been a Nanny for the past 4 Years but have been in the childcare industry for 12 years. Having the opportunity to become a nanny has been one of the most amazing and rewarding jobs that I have done; it has always been a dream of mine to become part of a family and care for children in their own homes. To support not only the children but the parents as-well in their everyday lives. It has been fantastic. Since becoming a nanny, I have had lots of different everyday task which I have had to do along side of caring for the children. These Include: General housekeeping, making sure the house is kept tidy & clean, keeping the children’s rooms tidy & toys tidy (Along with other areas of the house), laundry and changing bed linens, food preparation and cooking healthy meals for the children (And sometimes for the parents too), food shopping & putting the food shopping away (maintaining organisation in the kitchen and around the home). Arranging days out/ activities for the children. Helping with school drop offs and pickups.

I have a level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce and a level 3 Diploma in childcare studies. I have also done 1 year caring for the elderly as a health care assistant, as I am devoted to caring for others.

I have done voluntary work in nurseries as well as helping a local childminder. I have taken care of siblings, step-siblings and done babysitting on weekends and in the evenings for other family member’s and friends. I have also done voluntary work for a cat rescue as I also have a big passion for animals. Myself and another Nanny currently run a play group on a Monday term time and a Monday & Wednesday during school holidays. We set Mel & Maddy’s Playgroup up to support families during the school holidays and on a Monday term time. Providing a space for parent/ caregivers to bring their children, to have fun and play. Whilst the adults have company and can socialise with others.

I am flexible, Harding working and Reliable! I have a passion for working with children as I am very child orientated. I have many hobbies such as singing, baking, arts and crafts, I am very creative and fun! I love animals and have 4 cats & 1 dog.

I have a paediatric first aid certificate, safe guarding certificate, food hygiene certificate as well as many more. And I have a DBS certificate. (Which is a rolling one that gets updated each year as a part of the update system)

I’m currently looking for a part time Nanny job as my current working hours are changing in October. I work Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday currently which my days will stay the same in October but my hours will be changing & Im hoping to find a morning position working around 7am-1pm. Unless the right job comes along that’s full time. I also provide babysitting at the weekends or in the evenings. I have a full uk driving licence and own my own 4x4 car.

I have experience with children aged from birth to 10years old.
