Ofsted Good Provider Logo
Good
9 May 2022
Children form extremely warm attachments in this nurturing environment and make good progress through a thoughtfully planned curriculum. The childminder demonstrates excellent understanding of post-pandemic challenges, offering flexible settling-in visits and gradually introducing children to new experiences. Strong partnerships with parents are central to practice, with the childminder sensitively considering home circumstances when planning activities. Children develop a love of books and take pride in learning self-care skills such as handwashing. While language development is well supported overall through clear speech, songs and stories, the childminder could occasionally pause more in conversations to allow very young children time to practise new words.
