Hi ! My name is Lucy, I am 24 years old and work full-time for the NHS within the mental health sector. I love working with children and getting to know families, I think it is a privilege to witness another families life and make a meaningful contribution to their children's upbringing.
My Experience
I am DBS checked and have plenty of childcare experience, from working as a babysitter for many years to working as a live-in au pair for a family in Spain. I also have experience of volunteering in SEND schools. This has taught me a great deal about communication and the need to always find fun and clear ways of engaging children. I also learnt a great deal about patience through my years of volunteering at the Thomas Wolsey School and the Bridge School in London.
My Qualifications
BPS accredited MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical).
BABCP Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within the NHS.
My Availability
I am available to offer ad hoc evening babysitting on most weeknights.
