About Me
I am a friendly and reliable trainee solicitor who is looking to do some evening babysitting and possibly weekend childcare, having experience as a nursery practitioner working with 18-26 month olds and nanny experience with to 3-4 year olds. I am based in the centre of Exeter and am able to commute up to 1 mile as I do not own a car.
My aim is to give you, as parents/carers, peace of mind whilst ensuring your child has fun and feels comfortable around me. I enjoy various hobbies in my free time, such as baking, camping and creating artwork. I am DBS checked and safeguarding level 1 qualified.
I have a Masters degree in Law, I can therefore happily assist with school work and homework. I am near-fluent in written French and my speaking level is intermediate, should you want me to incorporate some basic French into the time I spend with your child. I also have a GCSE-level understanding of Spanish, so can help with homework in this subject.
I have plenty of childcare experience during both daytime and evenings/nighttime, which can be viewed below. Happy to change nappies, prepare simple meals and bath/put your child to bed.

My Experience
Previously, I have looked after children ranging from 18 months to 13 years old and have experience with both shy and cheeky characters! I have worked at a nursery in my hometown for 5 months, where I was based with 18-26 month olds. During the pandemic, I gave daily phonics tutoring to a 5-year old girl via Zoom and was thrilled to watch her progress noticeably over the course of the months I taught her. I also have some experience volunteering at a school for SEND children. I like to be involved with the children I'm looking after by playing games, reading bedtime stories and incorporating age-appropriate learning into play to make them feel engaged and safe when I'm with them.
I have a UK driving licence but do not have a car down in Exeter. I have an up-to-date DBS and am safeguard level 1 qualified.

A-Level: French, Psychology, Biology (AAB)
Bachelor Degree: LLB English Law and French Law/Master 1 (Maitrise) (Upper Second Class Degree)
Postgraduate degree: Master of Laws and Legal Practice Course (Merit)
My Availability
I am available from March 2024 to babysit/childmind in Exeter. My availability is strictly in the evenings from 6pm. There may be days where I am required to work overtime but this should be rare.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
As of September 2022, my childminding rate is £12/hour when your child is awake, and £10/hour when asleep.
These prices will occasionally be higher if the role requires caring for many children.
