About Me
I am a bubbly character who has always had a love for working with children. I am currently a Primary School teacher but I have to admit I do get bored during the holidays after a few days rest and so I love to be with children during those times too! I work to the needs of the parents and the child and can discuss any arrangements in advance if need be.
** Please note my availability is school holidays only due to teaching full time in the week **
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher currently teaching currently in year 6 but previously been in year R,2 and 4! This means I have spent a lot of time with children, ranging in ages. When I am not teaching I am a seasonal nursery worker and so have experience with children from 6 months old. I also worked as part of their holiday club, entertaining and looking after children from the age of 5-11. Last summer I was a nanny to 2 boys. I absolutely adore working with children and using all my experience from the classroom in whatever environment I am faced with. I also volunteer at a local rainbow unit for young girls aged 5-7 and during the corona virus pandemic I was providing online home schooling sessions. I have references from my rainbow unit and a nursery.
My Qualifications
I have 12 GCSE's and 3 A-levels and a 2.1 degree in Primary Education with QTS.
I am fully DBS checked and have had training in areas like bottle feeding, nappy changing etc. As part of my teaching job I have first aid training and areas like safeguarding
