About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher, teaching year 4 for two years now. I am currently offering tutoring services two or three times a week during evenings or on the weekends.
During my time in education, I have noticed the positive response to diverse techniques that teachers implement in pupils of all backgrounds and abilities. Contributing to the process of bringing the best out of children has been the best experience I ever had.
My purpose is to make a valuable difference in children's lives, as I consider myself as someone who has a positive attitude and outlook towards the child's development. I strongly believe that every child matters regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity and ability.
I am fluent in English and Portuguese.
My Experience
I worked as a Teaching Assistant, which included primary, secondary and special schools.
During my PGCE, I had two placements where I trained to teach. I tutored a 7-year-old child during the pandemic and I am currently a primary school teacher.
My Qualifications
I have a BA First Class Hons degree in Education Studies.
I completed my PGCE Primary Education with QTS (qualified teacher status) and successfully passed my NQT (Newly qualified teacher) year.
My Availability
I am available on some evenings and I can be flexible on the weekends.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
I charge £40 per hour. However, I might charge £5 extra if I need to relocate, depending on the travelling.

Miss Lemos have been tutoring my son for a few months now and I am happy with all the progress that he has done so far! She is very patient and breaks down the tasks to make it easier for him and in two months he already knows all the timetables. I would really recommend.
