About Me
I am a Primary Teacher living in Harborne and willing to travel into surrounding areas if needed. I am currently on maternity leave so can be flexible with days and times. I believe that children learn best when they are relaxed and appropriately challenged. I am patient and will work with your child so that they can fulfil their potential.
My Experience
Qualified and experienced Primary Teacher with experience in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with a specialism in maths. Currently teaching Year 3 in a local primary school. I have been offering private tuition for over 3 years now and have had several long term students (can provide references). Ensures every tuition session is tailored and specially made for your child and your goals. A Primary specialist with a growing record of helping children from various ages progress. Teaches all ages and Key Stages across the Primary National Curriculum, including support for SATs and school entry exams. BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS, Birmingham City University.
My Qualifications
I have been teaching for 7 years and graduated from Birmingham City University with a First class degree in Primary Education with QTS. Since qualifying as a teacher, I have completed various training on SEN such as dyslexia.

Roisin has been fantastic in recently tutoring my 10 year old son in Maths, never having used a tutor for my children previously Roisin has been really approachable and accommodating.
He is a very quiet, anxious boy with SEN and with my home schooling efforts pushed to their limits whilst schools have been closed, him having one to one tutoring with Roisin, a primary school teacher, weekly is really helping with all those missed months of "proper" schooling.
She has been great in putting him at ease whilst building his confidence with KS2 Maths in which he had been struggling at school.
