About Me
My name is Serena and I am originally from Italy, where I first trained as a chef. When I moved to the UK I joined my two greatest passions, food and children by becoming a nanny.
For five years I have worked with the same family, looking after a lovely little girl who is now ten. Being Italian and an ex-chef, I value good nutritious food very much and meals time, where I like to talk and share.
Now that I have moved to Oxfordshire, I worked as a nursery practitioner until 2022. Here I had the chance to work with children three months up to five years old, gain my childcare qualification and also became the SEN coordinator and yoga teacher for children. Working on a nursery was a great experience but I then came to the conclusion, that I was really missing being a nanny and that special relationship you have with the children and family you are working for, which is why, I then gone back to my original passion.
I am very passionate about my job and I love spending time outdoor, build crazy forts, get dirty with art and craft and read lovely bed time stories.
I consider myself to be strict but fear, as I strongly believe in good manners, tidying up and being kind to one another.
