I specialise in English, but also have extensive experience tutoring Geography, 11+ preparation, and general exam skills. My Experience
I am a qualified and experienced English teacher offering personalised tuition across all age groups, from EYFS and Key Stage 1 through to GCSE, iGCSE and A-level. With experience teaching English in secondary schools, I also work as a GCSE, iGCSE and A-level English examiner, giving me valuable insight into exam techniques, assessment criteria, and how to support students in achieving top grades.
In addition to English, I tutor a wide range of humanities subjects, including History, Geography and Religious Studies. I also have experience preparing students for the 11+ exams, helping them gain entry to top independent and grammar schools.
I also offer homeschooling, delivering flexible, tailored lessons that suit each learner’s needs. Whether the focus is on early literacy, academic confidence, or exam preparation, my lessons are engaging, supportive, and results-driven.
My Qualifications
I graduated from Queen Mary University London with a bachelor's degree in English with honours. I obtained a 2:1.
I completed post graduate teacher training to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

My Fees
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
My hourly rate is £40 per a tutee for online tuition. My hourly rate is £50 an hour for in person tuition.
I offer a 10% discount to tutees who book a block of 10 lessons and a 5% discount to tutees who book a block of 5 lessons in advance.
