About Me
My name is Debbie and i have been registered with Ofsted as a childminder for 24 years. I live with my husband and son.
I have a a large fully enclosed garden with a playhouse, Slide, mud kitchen, water/sand area and a variety of outdoor toys. I offer a warm inviting home from home environment and provide a wide range of stimulating activities that suit each child's age stage and ability.
I like to compliment every child's home experiences with exciting playful activities and recourses throughout the day, that will enhance their interests and support them to develop new skills. Examples of some of the activities that the children enjoy in my setting are sensory play, role play, reading, singing, craft activities and nature walks that involve using some of our finds during various learning opportunity's.
My aim is for each child to reach their full potential through play, while following the eyfs curriculum.
Each child will be involved with real life learning, by making use of local facilities such as the library, story time, visiting the local fire station, local parks and woods. Some of these will involve meeting up with other childminders and their children that will provide further social opportunities for each child in my setting.
My Experience
I have been childminding for many years and have experience with having 3 of my own grown up children and having 3 grandchildren from the age of birth.

Debbie’s been looking after my son, who’s now almost-five, and daughter, now two-and-a-half, since they were one. I consider myself and the kids extremely lucky to have found her. She’s been unwaveringly reliable and supportive, but more importantly she’s been constantly ambitious for their development and more caring than I could have hoped for. She’s always thinking of new and different activities they can do whilst also being flexible and ‘following their lead’ when they have their own ideas! My children absolutely love her and it really is their second home. Debbie’s family have been nothing but accepting of and kind to my children which makes her setting a real home-from-home. I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough.
