About Me
Hello, I'm Amanda and I'm 32. I am looking for some part time hours to fit around some study I will be doing in September. In the past I have worked various roles within the NHS, the church, care, retail, cleaning etc. I spent 18 months looking after my nephew 1 day a week, so his parents could work. I have special needs experience and as one of my current roles, support an 11 year old with additional needs a few hours a week.
My Experience
I have had lots of experience of working with children with family, friends and in church and community environments. I have done a lot of babysitting for a wide range of ages, and whilst at university I did a regular school pick up and after school childcare for a lovely 5 year old. I have experience from newborn through to 18, and having grown up with a sister with severe learning difficulties also have special needs experience.
As I have mentioned I currently look after my nephew one afternoon a week, and used to have him one day a week before his mum went on maternity leave again. We have a lot of fun together.
My Qualifications
I am willing to update my paediatric first aid certificate, which I used to hold but is now out of date. I hold a clean, full UK driving license with my own car
My Availability
At the moment I am fairly flexible with the hours that I am available to work, but there will be two Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's each term when I will be away on block study, but the rest of my time is flexible.
