About Me
I'm super passionate about the importance of socialising, especially through outdoor play (we love parks and walks in all weather!) Having become a mum myself in the last few years (babe is now 3 years old) has definitely broadened my own knowledge and given me a new appreciation for all that parents do. I absolutely love my job as a nanny as it allows me to build close bonds with children and their families.
I am pretty skilled in finding the coolest groups, parks and softplays haha. We love visiting softplays during the winter months (although of course still go outside too) and love day trips and spending all day outside during the dryer and/or warmer days of the year! I absolutely adore animals so if you do have a pet that is a bonus for us! If not, we love a trip to the farm.
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of childcare settings including nurseries and schools and in 2021 began nannying and have never looked back. So far I have nannied for 3 families including twins, babies and school aged children. Whilst I love nannying, due to government funding nannying jobs are now becoming rare and as a result I've decided to start up my own childminding from home.
A few years ago my interest in children’s learning and development prompted me to further my knowledge by undertaking a degree in Early Years which I then completed with a 2:1. I specifically chose to focus on the importance of outdoor play for babies and young children which has been something we continue to reap the benefits of!
