Hi,my name is Carla and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Ludgershall with over five years’ experience in childcare and a Level 3 Diploma.
I am fully DBS checked and first aid trained, providing a safe, caring, home-from-home environment for children aged 0–3 years.
I offer a nurturing, child-led setting where little ones can learn and grow through play, both at home and out in the community. We enjoy regular outings including groups, sensory rooms, farms, forest walks, and parks, as well as taking part in local community activities and meeting with other childminders. My aim is to provide a warm, supportive space where every child feels happy, secure, and valued.
My Experience
I have over five years’ experience working with children from birth to four years old in a home-based childcare setting. During this time, I have supported children through key stages of early development, including settling in, building routines, and preparing for transitions such as moving on to nursery.
I plan and provide a range of age-appropriate activities that support learning through play, including sensory play, outdoor exploration, creative activities, and social experiences within the local community. I regularly attend groups, organise outings, and encourage children to explore the world around them in a safe and engaging way.
I have experience working closely with parents to support each child’s individual needs, routines, and development, ensuring open communication and a consistent approach to care. I am confident in providing a warm, nurturing environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to grow in confidence and independence.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS check - (as does anyone within my household that is over 16)
Safeguarding trained
Great knowledge of the EYFS (Early years foundation stage)
Paediatric first aid certificate
Diploma in early years
My Availability
My opening hours are:
0800 - 1700 Monday - Thursday
0800 - 1300 Friday

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Early years care is £7 per hour
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Zouch Academy

We chose Carla's Cubs for my son from the age of 12 to 27 months. He was the first child to join the setting, in that time Carla helped my son grow and learn whilst having fun. The setting is warm and welcoming with everything your child could need. Carla herself was flexible and understanding with any changes or support we required as a military family. We were always kept informed of the days activities, in person, via daily diary and with pictures. Sad to have left the setting. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs a childminder, my son felt very at home there with lots of adventures.
