About Me
Hi! I’m Eliza, a 26-year-old with a genuine love for working with children. I’ve gained experience caring for children in a variety of different settings, from babysitting from a young age to working at summer camps while at university and, more recently, working as a full-time nanny for two years with various families.
As a nanny, I’ve been responsible for creating a safe, caring and fun environment for children, managing daily routines, preparing healthy meals and organising activities to keep them happy and engaged. I really enjoy getting to know each child and adapting to their individual personalities, interests and needs.
I’ve recently returned to the UK after living in Australia and am now looking for full-time or part-time childcare work. I have very flexible availability and am happy to work around different schedules, whether that’s regular weekly childcare, longer hours or occasional babysitting.
I’m naturally very energetic and sporty, and I love encouraging children to get outside and stay active. Whether it’s trips to the park, outdoor games, creative activities or simply keeping them entertained at home, I always aim to make sure they’re having fun while feeling safe and well cared for.
I’m reliable, caring and easy-going, and I’d love the opportunity to find a lovely family I can support and become someone they can rely on. ?
My Experience
started babysitting at the age of 14 and have continued working with children ever since, gaining experience in a variety of different settings. I spent three summers in the United States working at summer camps, where I was a group leader responsible for a specific age group as well as a water sports instructor. These experiences helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills, while teaching me how to create fun, engaging activities for children of different ages and personalities.
I also worked as a full-time nanny for two years, caring for children across different families and becoming responsible for everything from daily routines and school runs to preparing healthy meals and organising activities. I really enjoyed building strong relationships with the children and creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment for them.
I’ve recently returned from living in Australia and am now looking forward to continuing to work with children. I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages and am happy to adapt to each family’s individual routines, needs and preferences.
