My Requirements

About the Role

This is a part-time position of around 20 hours per week during term-time (38 weeks per year), typically 2–6pm, although additional hours can be offered for the right candidate. We would appreciate some flexibility to stay a little later occasionally when needed. Around 5 weeks of working hours during school holidays, spread across the year and agreed in advance with the nanny. Regular babysitting would also be on top. 

Key responsibilities include:

Childcare & Activities
School pick-ups and taking the children to after-school activities
Helping with homework (mainly reading and maths)
Hosting playdates
Coming up with fun, age-appropriate activities to do at home during free time

Household Support
Cooking a healthy family dinner each day
Kids’ laundry
Keeping children’s areas tidy (bedroom, playroom)
Keeping shared living areas (hallway, kitchen) tidy
Light housekeeping such as receiving/unpacking groceries, emptying the dishwasher daily, and general tidying

Hours & Availability

About You

You are warm and kind with plenty of energy and genuinely enjoy working with children. We both work full time so a reliable candidate who is organised is important.
