About Me

{ Babysitter } - Hi there, my name is Karen and I am 29 years old. I am a qualified teacher from Northern Ireland living in the Golder's Green area. I enjoy hill-walking, reading and baking. I am currently training to be a counsellor. I believe myself to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, honest, adaptable and hard-working individual.

My Experience

I have taught children and young people from ages 3-17 and worked across special schools and specialist units. I also have experience in baby-sitting, mostly with a family of 3 children under 8, with the eldest having non-verbal ASD.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd Primary) with 1st Class Honours. I have also completed a series of courses related to mental health, SEN, grief, trauma and attachment in children. I completed a Paediatric First Aid course in November 2025. I completed a DBS check in March 2026 and am registered on the DBS update service.

My Availability

I am available for babysitting on Friday and Saturday evenings. I will not have access to my own car in Bristol, but am willing to travel by bus or walk, within a reasonable distance.
