About Me

I’m Katie, a qualified teacher with experience across Early Years and primary age up to year 6. I offer fun, creative and personalised tutoring sessions for primary aged children.

Whether your child needs a boost with their SATS or with phonics or just extra encouragement and confidence to support their learning, I tailor each session to the individual needs. My aim is to make learning exciting and positive to boost their confidence and encourage their strengths to shine. I also specialise in working with children with SEND.

Sessions are available in person.

My Experience

I am a qualified primary school teacher and have worked in this profession for 4 years. I have experience supporting year 6 children with their SATs preparation as well as supporting children in year 1 and 2 with their phonics. Additionally, I have lots of experience working with children in other settings as I have previously been a dance teacher and have volunteered for girl guiding.

My Qualifications

I have completed my GCSE’s and A levels. I have achieved a BsC degree in psychology and a PGCE qualification in primary teaching. I am also first aid trained and have a DBS check.
