Caring and wonderful nanny

Marzena looked after our three kids when they were 5, 4 and 1 year old and she is an excellent nanny. She is caring and forms a lovely bond with the children, they immediately felt at ease and safe with her, loved having her around and had wonderful days with her. She managed my older kids nursery and school runs and then spent time with the youngest, taking her to a variety of play dates and classes. She was always proactive in suggesting activities and made sure my daughter had interactions with other kids and plenty of outside play. She is also an excellent cook - from home made fish cakes, to lasagnes and meatballs - the kids adored her food. She’s super aware of nutrition and makes sure they eat a balanced diet. You can tell Marzena has a nursery background - she knows all the things to look out for, when they are unwell, cranky or in the midst of a tantrum. Marzena has endless energy and passion for the kids - from playing football with my oldest, to offering plenty of cuddles for my middle one to entertaining my youngest - she’s a fantastic person to have around your children. She’s also lovely to have around the house - she’s punctual and reliable, always in touch if needed and very independent in running the kids days. She will be a wonderful nanny for the next family.

A wonderful nanny we trust completely

We are extremely happy with Marzena and feel very lucky to have her as our nanny. She started looking after our son when he was just 4 months old and has supported us wonderfully through his development from a young baby into a toddler.

Marzena is an incredibly patient, loving and warm person, and our son absolutely adores her. She has built a very strong and trusting relationship with him, and we can see how happy and comfortable he is with her.

She has been a huge help with sleep, starting solid foods, mealtimes, play and establishing routines. She cooks for our son and regularly suggests meals, activities, classes and toys that may be useful for his development. She takes him to a variety of classes, playgrounds and the library, and has also played a big part in developing his love of books.

One of the things we particularly value is the way Marzena combines warmth and affection with clear and consistent boundaries. She handles toddler emotions and tantrums incredibly well. She stays calm, patient and compassionate rather than becoming flustered, and this really helps our son to settle and regulate.

Marzena is extremely reliable and punctual and very independent in her work. When we started working together, I prepared a document explaining our routines and preferences, and after that I very rarely needed to repeat things or give detailed instructions. She takes initiative and makes sensible decisions independently, while always checking with us if she is unsure about something.

Communication is excellent. She keeps us updated about anything important and sends us lots of photos throughout the day. She is particularly attentive when it comes to our son's health and safety and always lets us know if she notices something or has a concern.

We trust Marzena's judgement enormously. In fact, she is sometimes more cautious than I am, and I really appreciate that — if she raises a concern, it is a useful signal for me to pay closer attention too. She adapts very naturally to our family and our routines, but she is also confident enough to share her own suggestions when she thinks something would benefit our son.

Most importantly, we trust Marzena completely with our son and know that she genuinely cares about his wellbeing and development. She is caring, dependable, thoughtful and a genuinely lovely person to have around.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Marzena to any family looking for a loving, experienced, responsible and trustworthy nanny.

Wonderful nanny - we were lucky to have Marzena jo

Marzena had sole charge of our 18 month old and also cared for our 4 year old who has additional needs. She is caring, patient and 100% trustworthy and reliable. She’s also an incredible cook and a pleasure to be around. Most importantly, our boys adored her. I would recommend Marzena without hesitation.

Wonderful Nanny- treasured by all of our family

Marzena cared for my children (all under 5!) from shortly after my son was born until we left Fulham last year. We were very sad to leave her behind, and my eldest still talks about her.

Marzena started with us mainly looking after my son who at the time was 5 months. She took such careful care of him- I always felt that he was in very safe and experienced hands. She cooked for him, took him out to classes, and was involved with all aspects of his routine. As he grew she also really encouraged his social and emotional development through toys and play.

During her time with us we welcomed our third child and also had an ASD diagnosis for my eldest. Marzena supported me as a new mother and was adaptable to her role changing to look after more children and to balance competing needs.

Marzena is a patient and genuinely kind person who clearly loves being around babies, toddlers and pre schoolers. She would be an asset to any family.

Best Babysitter

Marzena was the babysitter for our youngest son from when he was 6 months old.
She is a really caring person, adapting to our routine straight ahead, always punctual and ready to help or suggest solutions.
She would cook food for him and take care continuously, making up activities or reaching places with organised ones.
She was taking initiatives that we really appreciated: food wise or teaching him appropriately for his age.
Our son, 3.5 Years old now and going to the public nursery, really loves her. Fortunately, living local she comes to keep both our sons once a month and we are all happy to have Marzena around!
I wouldn’t have any doubt in suggesting her to other families.
