About Me
I currently live in Chelmer village and would ideally (I would consider other areas) like to find a position close proximity of Chelmer village/chancellor park schools and I would then be able to do school dropoffs and/or pick ups from either Barnes farm/chancellor park school of their are any school age siblings or children.
I car share with my husband so wouldn’t be driving to and from work and looking for something local walking distance, therefore I would not have my car on working days so things need to be walkable for activities.
I am more than happy to take children to baby groups, clubs or activities.
I’m a mother of two (13 and 18) I live in Chelmsford with my husband and children, I am originally from West Yorkshire and relocated 20 years ago to Essex.
I have a passion for working with children and watching them develop and learn new things, I’m very enthusiastic and self motivated, As well as caring and hard working, I have previously worked for an ofsted outstanding nursery for over 5 years of which I’ve loved and enjoyed every second.
I am currently with my 3rd nanny family looking after their beautiful 3 children, I have been here for over two and half years.
As a mother of 2 beautiful children myself, I know all too well how hard it can be to leave your pride and joy with someone who isn’t yourself, I can promise to fully care and look after your child/ren.
I have experience in helping settle new born babies into routines that suit their needs and working with parents on weaning, sleeping, walking, reading, writing, and all childcare developments that come from learning to grow.
I love to be creative and more than happy to take on messy, engaging activities with your child/ren
I am incredibly organised and pride myself on my work ethic, I would be happy to help with chores around the house, such as washing clothes/ironing/hoovering
I am fully DBS checked.
My previous career before settling down with my children was a pub/hotel manager having up to 50 staff under me, I worked for the same company for 10 years.
I am very trustworthy, honest and reliable.

My Experience
I have been fortunate enough to work for 3 beautiful families looking after all their childcare needs, I’m currently solely with one family and their 3 children.
I have 5.5years experience within a nursery setting, working within an ofsted outstanding nursery chain based in Chelmsford. I am paediatric first aid trained and have experience working with newborn babies to 5 years within the nursery setting, however my current nanny job the baby was one week old when I started and she’s now 2.5 years old . Within my nursery setting we do daily posts about the child’s day and development, take on in the moment planning of activities meaning I can happily create things on the day to engage your child/ren which stems from their interests, find new and fun ways to learn and keep the child/ren focussed and engaged, excellent personal parent feedback (daily)
I have previously worked a year in a reception class at a primary school where I supported the teacher with forest school classes, swimming lessons, one to one reading and activities and taking the register.

My Availability
I’m ideally looking for 3/4 days a week term time only (I would consider some holidays but not all)
I am currently a nanny for a gorgeous family with 3 children aging from 2-7 I have been with this current family for two and a half years, this year around easter time my current contract will be coming to an end/changing times/days and therefore I’d be able to pick up another nanny family and help with childcare needs. I started with my currently family before baby was even born so I’ve had plenty of hands on help/experience with settling a newborn/teething/weaning/development learning/routines
I would be more than happy to do occasional evening babysitting if required(must be booked and arranged in advance)
